The first 2 winners of the "FREE TICKET DRAW"  to a
Major League spring training game at Roger Dean Stadium

were Tommy Ladd of the CSSL and Alan Lury of the RPBSSL. 
The two winners will be Cesar's guests at a Boston Red Sox
game versus either the St. Louis Cardinals or the Miami Marlins
in a March game.  Congrats to two nice guys.  CESAR

On behalf of the entire "65th" players we would like to CONGRATULATE "ALEX OCHOA" on
being named the first base coach for the BOSTON RED SOX by Manager Bobby Valentine this upcoming 2012 Major League Baseball season. Alex Ochoa was COACHED in high scholl by our own "65th" player and now Coach of the "ST. Thomas University JV Baseball Team" Manny Yanez....... You can look up Alex Ochoas bio on google or "MLB"......... Alex exemplifies what good character and good sportsmanship can produce during and after a players carrer in Major League baseball .... Congratulations to Alex Ochoa and to his High School Coach Manny Yanez on a job well done and for setting such a positive example for our young players on the St. Thomas University JV baseball team to follow. ARRIBA ALEX!!!!!!!!

RESULTS:
The team from Cayey, PR beat the Latinos of WPB 20-19 in the first
game and then won the tournament beating the Clippers 50s by 18-15
to win the 3 Kings Day celebration with timely hitting, speed and defense.

November 19, 2011 The "Latin Dance" held tonight was a huge success and the crowd exceeded our expectations.... The "65th" will be able to help families in the West Palm Beach area with food for Thanksgiving thanks to tonights turnout. My hearfelt thanks to all who attended tonights dance. I will be delivering food on Monday and Tuesday to the needy families. God Bless all of the Senior Softball Players from the various Leagues that attended tonights dance.... October 15, 2011  Cesar Jimenez is now on the St. Thomas University Baseball Team Coaching Staff and is assisting JV Head Coach Manny Yanez of the 65th.
October 13, 2011  Congrats to our 65th players, Shelly Ager, Richard Kipp and Tasso Remeliotis for winning the Cushing Senior Softball League Summer Playoff Championship.
September 1, 2011  Cancer Charity Softball game at Roger Dean Stadium. Thanks to Max Broitman for his efforts in getting the donations and players, thanks to all who donated and a special thanks to the players who played such an exciting and competitive game.
April 14, 2011 The following 65th players have been selected to play in the CSSL All-Star Game on 4/26/11, Bill DeRenzo, Angel DeJesus and Cesar Jimenez and Neal Kaye.
April 11, 2011 Two 65th members, Angel DeJesus and Danny Ramos were on the 2011 Winter Championship team of the CSSL.
February 25, 2011 General Manager/Manager Cesar Jimenez today announced that Les Gershberg has been named Co-Captain of the 65th.

JANUARY 9, 2011 65th beat the PR All Stars of Florida 17-8 at Okeeheelee Park sponsored by the PB Puerto Rican Cultural Society, Inc. MARCH 26, 2011 The 65th beat "The Shields" 24-13 in a "well-played game today" Thanks to Shelly Ager for volunteering to umpire.

APRIL 2, 2011 65th beat Levin's Financials at Seminole today by a score of 25-9. Home runs by the two new Jimmys' K and McGuire and Les and Billy D. helped the cause.

SEPTEMBER 26, 2011 65th beat the Shields 29-16. Home runs by Cesar, Angel (2) and Richard Bonilla (3). Richard was a guest player for the day and is currently coaching the Ft. Myers Miracle (Class A minor league affiliate of the Minnesota Twins).
